North Carolina Triathlon & Cycling Club Team is open to all individuals. The goal of the team is to provide group training opportunities, participation in targeted races and build a community for multi-sport athletes.

Team members include seasoned athletes and complete beginners.

Check out the Summer Group Training for Juniors under the Juniors tab. Session 1 begins the week of May 7.

Ongoing Activities:

Swim -

  • Tuesdays at 5:30AM at Homestead Aquatics. This is a casual "meet up" and swim. Begin April 18, 2017.

Bike -

  • Mellow Mondays - 6PM, Clean Machine (Carrboro). Distance: 20-25 miles. Starts: April 17, 2017

Run -

  • Wednesday night Pub Run (Fleet Feet Carrboro) 6:30. Choose 3, 4 or 5 mile run.

FAQ's

 

  • Who can join? All are welcome to join the team. While we are all about training and racing to meet our goals, we also have a big social component to our club. You do not have to be an athlete to join the club.
  • Why should I join? You will find new training partners, make new friends and enjoy the camaraderie of a club. For those who are more pragmatic, USAT Club members enjoy additional discounts and are eligible to receive some race discounts from designated racing companies. Most importantly, you will be supporting youth & junior racing!
  • Are there weekly activities to participate in? Yes. Some of these activities will be already established ongoing weekly running and cycling opportunities. Check out the Calendar tab for ongoing activities.
